Lisa was born in Hull, East Yorkshire and studied ballroom and Latin American dance winning the IDTA ballroom nd latin championship twice before going on to study at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
Upon graduating she danced extensively with Phoenix Dance Theatre for 5 years working with choreographers including Javier de Frutos, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Robert Cohan, Rui Horta, Jeremy Nelson and Didy Veldman.

As a freelance artist, Lisa has performed with Henri Oguike Dance Company. Bonachela Dance Company, Fin Walker, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Cameron McMillan and Renaud Wiser to name a few. She has also worked on The Pet Shop Boys musical (The Most Incredible Thing) choreographed by Javier de Frutos, Joe Wright’s ‘Anna Karenina’ choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and numerous ballroom and latin shows.

Lisa joined James Cousins Company in May 2012 and has collaborated with James as both a dancer and rehearsal director.
