Heejung Kim is a dancer based in Seoul, South Korea. She is a Master of Fine Arts candidate of Sejong University and has worked with major contemporary dance companies such as Tatmaroo, Ryu Janghyun as well as Korea National Contemporary Dance Company.

 

Her solo piece Stand at the Dawn (2013) garnered her Gold Prize in Korea International Modern Dance Competition. In the following year with Spring at the Edge/Escaped (2014) She won the 2nd prize in 11th Seoul International Dance Competition.

 

Her past projects include Across Hiphop: I am African (2014),Picture Writing (2015), Empty Project (2015) and Guernica Again (2016), the last two being showcased at Critics Choice to critical acclaim
