Gareth graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2010 with a 1st Class degree and a MA at distinction level in 2016. It was at LCDS that he first worked with James, performing in several works, including ‘The Still Point’ at Buckingham Palace and the Burgos New York International Dance Competition. 

 

Since graduating Gareth has worked extensively with several companies including, National Dance Company Wales, Kneehigh Theatre Company, DanteOrDie Theatre Company, Renaud Wiser Company, Panta Rei Danse Teatre (Norway) and The Royal Opera House.

 

As a freelancer, he has worked with Peter Darling, Ellen Kane, Lynne Page, Jonathan Lunn, Amir Hosseinpour, Otto Pitchler, Phillipe Giraudeau, Lloyd Newson DV8, James Wilton, Alexander Whitley, the BBC, Netflix and Eddie Peake. 

 

Gareth has worked with James Cousins Company since 2012, assisting James with the casting of Everything and Nothing and working on the research and development period and creation for Without Stars.
